45th European Cystic Fibrosis Conference

We  are  pleased  to  announce  that  registration  for  the  45th  European Cystic Fibrosis Conference, which will be held on 8-11 June 2022 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is now open!

Register now and benefit from the early registration fees available until Thursday 24 March, 23:59 CET.

The Conference is organised as an in-person
event at the Ahoy Rotterdam. No digital component is planned. The ECFS is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all in-person meetings and conferences
participants and is closely monitoring the situation in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The ECFS will comply with all applicable requirements and specific health and safety protocols imposed by European, Dutch and local health authorities.

Special registration rates are available for ECFS
members as well as for participants working in countries classified as Low-income economies, Lower-middle-income economies and Upper-middle-income economies by the World
Bank.

Registration & Full Membership may
be booked together. Become a new ECFS Member or renew an expired ECFS Membership. This special offer includes registration to the conference at the preferential rate for members and a full 2022 ECFS Membership.

• Clinical nutrition course – Practical interventions to optimise nutrition. A
  basic revision course for 2022 – Tuesday 7 June – Half Day
• Physiotherapy short course – Assessment and interpretation of literature – How
  to translate research results into working practice recommendation – The upper airways – Tuesday 7 & Wednesday 8 June – 1.5 Day

New this year

• Managing challenging conversations – A simulation-based masterclass for trainees
  and healthcare professionals working with persons who live with cystic fibrosis – Tuesday 7 June – All Day
• Sex, intimacy and reproductive health in cystic fibrosis – This course about
  sexuality, fertility, and family planning in cystic fibrosis, will discuss the opportunities and challenges for health services in applying a life-course perspective to address sexual and reproductive health with people with CF. – Tuesday 7 June – All Day

This year, the ECFS Nursing Special Interest Group (NSIG) is offering a Nursing Innovation Award as well as NSIG Travel Grants for Nursing professionals. You can

apply here.
The application deadline for the nursing grants is: 18 March 2022, 23:59 CET.

The health and safety of our delegates is of the utmost importance. The ECFS is committed to providing
a safe and healthy environment for all in-person meetings and conferences participants and is closely monitoring the situation in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The ECFS will comply with all applicable requirements and specific health and safety protocols
imposed by European, Dutch and local health authorities. It is foreseen that at the time of the European Cystic Fibrosis Conference, an EU health pass or any updated document valid at that time for European travels will be needed to attend the conference.
We will provide all details about the comprehensive on-site preparedness plan to address the safety and well-being of all participants.
