The library services are available to all students, doctoral students, specializing physicians, lecturers or staff at Medical University of Plovdiv and St. George University Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment, as well as to external students and professionals.
The initial user registration is made upon presentation of the following documents:
a recent photo, as well as a certified Student record book/Student ID card for students;
a valid ID card and a certificate attesting to their workplace for lecturers or staff of Medical University of Plovdiv, medical professionals or staff of Saint George University Hospital for Active Treatment;
a valid ID card for external students and professionals.
The library services and resources are free.
A duplicate library card is issued for a set fee of 3.00 levs.
Yes, you can. All registered members receive a personal identification number (PIN) for the current academic year and use this number to identify themselves when printing, copying or scanning. The PIN is renewed at the beginning of each academic year upon re-registration.
The PIN is given to you on a printed sheet of paper upon registration and is also sent to your e-mail box. You need to find in your e-mail box an e-mail from [email protected]
Terms and Conditions of the Library and Information Center for providing library and information resources and services
Students may take items, where more than 1 copy of the item is available from the basic book stock – up to 5 items, for a period of 30 days, and from the at-hand book stocks – up to 3 items, for a period of 7 days.
Lecturers and staff of Medical University of Plovdiv may borrow up to 10 items from the basic book stock, for up to 30 days.
Specializing physicians may borrow up to 5 titles for 15 days.
External students and professionals are entitled to using library documents only in the reading rooms of the Library and Information Center.
Borrowed items can be renewed twice, provided that at the moment of renewal the item has not been requested by another user.
No, it is not possible. Borrowing library items must be done personally in the library.
The user must present the latest edition of the same book to the library as a replacement copy.
Yes, there is. You will receive the password from the librarian in the library.
