The activity aimed at providing a forum for the participants to show their creative potential and photographic skills with a focus on the university and popularizing the best of their works, including by making them part of the interior of the five libraries within the Library and Information Center.
Forty lecturers, students, and members of the university administrative staff sent 116 photographs within the announced period. In compliance with the contest Regulations and the contest topic, 77 photos by 33 authors were allowed to participate.
A jury comprising Professor Blagoi Marinov, MD, Ph.D. – chairman, Todor Nenov, and Nadezhda Vitkovska – members, selected three photographs and awarded the following prizes:
I prize – a certificate and 400 BGN to Danian Georgiev, a 4th-year Medicine student, for his photo entitled With a Love of Knowledge!;
II prize – a certificate and 300 BGN to Anastasia Serafimovska, 3rd-year Medicine student, for her photo entitled The Innovation is the Specific Instrument for the Evolution of Medicine;
III prize – a certificate and 200 BGN to Desislava Georgieva, 3rd-year Dental Medicine student, for her photo entitled Ambition.
