Six newly renovated training laboratories at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy at MU – Plovdiv were officially opened today.
In the presence of representatives of the Academic Body of the University, the Faculty’s Management and members of the Department, three renovated existing teaching laboratories and three newly built ones were inaugurated.
Pharmacy students in third, fourth and fifth year will have their classes in the discipline “Technology of dosage forms and bio pharmacy” from next week in the renovated premises, equipped with modern appliances and instruments.
The head of the department – Assoc. Prof. Bisera Pilicheva thanked the Academic body of MU – Plovdiv and to the Faculty’s management for the moral and financial support that made this renovation possible. She also expressed special thanks to the Medical College, where the Department is located.
Prof. Dr. Marianna Murdjeva – Rector of MU – Plovdiv expressed her confidence that the renewed environment will give additional work satisfaction to both students and professors. She wished her colleagues a fruitful educational process and successful research activities in the new laboratories.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Prof. Plamen Zagorchev, presented his symbolic gifts to the Department with the message “stepping on the past, go forward to the future.”
The renovated premises were inaugurated by Father Ivan from the Orthodox Church “Sv. Preobrajenie Gospodne” wishing health, prosperity and success to everyone who will be working there.
