Launching of a new project Safe4Child under the Erasmus + KA2 line at MU-Plovdiv

We are pleased to inform you that on 01.02.22 in MU-Plovdiv started the activity on the newly won project Safe4Child, under the Erasmus + program, Key Action 2, headed by Assoc. Prof. Gergana Petrova, PhD, Department of Nursing, Faculty of Public Health. The project theme is „Caring violent child safely in child psychiatric and residential units“ and aims to increase the knowledge and skills of first-line professionals and student nurses working with children with manifestations of aggressive behavior, for prevention and management of such behavior.

Objective: To increase the knowledge and skills of first-line professionals and student nurses working with children with manifestations of aggressive behavior, for prevention and management of such behavior.

Expected results of the project: Development of a platform for simulation training through virtual reality glasses. This modern educational technology will be applied in the learning process and will facilitate the formation of skills in working with children of student nurses and working professionals at the forefront.
