MU – Plovdiv in Virtual Education Fair

The Medical University of Plovdiv successfully participated in the second for this year edition of the Virtual Education Fair in Bulgaria, which was held on September 19th.

The organizer of this forum is DARBI Company, whose Education fairs in the last 13 years were mainly focused on students from Bulgaria seeking to study in Europe. This Fair was intended to international students who want to study in Bulgaria, and it was the first one in which Bulgarian state universities participated.

Students, parents and teachers from different countries in Europe, Asia and America took part in the Fair. Hosts of the Education Fair were different Bulgarian higher education institutions, among which the Medical University of Plovdiv.

Each host had its virtual own stand, where online brochures, catalogues, photos, videos and various files were giving information about the good educational opportunities provided for international students by our universities.

During the Virtual Fair direct connections with visitors were provided, especially effective in the context of social isolation and the impossibility to attend such events. Seminars, online chats and video calls were held on this platform, the benefits of which were appreciated by over 700 participants.

An increased interest towards our University was expressed in the Virtual Education Fair. On behalf of MU – Plovdiv Anna Georgieva and Dimitar Sapundjiev from the Student Information Centre took part and gave comprehensive answers to all the questions asked by students from Great Britain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and other countries.

The online platform will remain available one week after the exhibition date for visitors to be able to view all the information and to contact the Universities for further details – https://vefbulgaria.com/company/home.
