MU-Plovdiv participates in the project-winning team of HOPE – How Oncogenetics Predicts & Educates (2018-1-RO01-KA202-049189) in ERASMUS+, Key Action 2 for cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices in the Strategic Partnerships Action in the field of Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training.
The project coordinator is UNIVERSITATEA DE MEDICINA SI FARMACIE GRIGORE T.POPA, IASI (Romania). Partners are FUNDATIA EUROED, Iasi (Romania), Centre Jean PERRIN, Clermont Ferrand (France), MEDICAL UNIVERSITY-PLOVDIV, Plovdiv (Bulgaria), University of Szeged (USZ), Szeged (Hungary), Asociatia ROHEALTH – Clusterul pentru sanatate, Bucharest (Romania) and GREENSOFT, Iasi (Romania).
The focus of the project is to raise awareness on the importance of the existence and expansion of oncogenetics, as a discipline depending on advances in understanding genes associated with inherited susceptibility to common adult malignancies.
The main activities of MU-Plovdiv are in establishing multidisciplinary consultancy groups in each of the project countries through creation of list of experts in the multidisciplinary consultancy groups; interactive discussions; developing profiles of the specialists in the multidisciplinary consultancy groups in oncogenetics with required roles and competences, etc.
The project starts on 01-10-2018 and ends on 30-09-2021. It has a total budget of 292,930 eur.
