We are pleased to inform you that within the first semester of your training you can choose to study the optional discipline “Healthcare Economics”. Completing the course will provide you additional credits and you will gain knowledge of:

How the modern healthcare system is organized and how the health market functions.

What are the place and the role of dental care in the healthcare system?

What are the costs of health and their importance for economic development?

How the modern healthcare systems are funded;

Key issues for managing the finances of healthcare organizations.

The educational documentation (thematic plan and synopsis) of “Health Economics” is available in the Department of Health Management and Health Economics. The exam is conducted in the form of essay and discussion.

The enrolment for the course is in the Students Affairs Department of Faculty of Dental Medicine.
