The Medical University – Plovdiv hosted the third international work meeting as a partner in the project HOPE – HOW ONCOGENETICS PREDICTS & EDUCATES 2018-1-RO01-KA202-049189 within the framework of the Erasmus + programme – key action „Cooperation for innovations and exchange of good practices“
The meeting was conducted from November 20 to 23, 2019 at the Faculty of Public Health and was attended by representatives of the following partners: the Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iaʂi (Rumania), the Jean Perrin Centre in Clermont-Ferrand (France), the University of Szeged (Hungary), the EuroEd Foundation Iaʂi (Romania), the RoHealth Cluster, Bucharest (Romania).
The participants were greeted by Assoc. Prof. Rostislav Kostadinov, Vice Dean of International Cooperation and Project Development at the Faculty of Public Health and Prof. Nonka Mateva, PhD, responsible for the project on behalf of MU – Plovdiv.
The work programme involved discussions related to working out guidelines for training in high technology specialised intervention in the field of oncogenetics, as well as the acquisition of profound knowledge and professional experience in the area of the specialised activities performed in an oncogenetic department.
The social programme of the guests included a visit to the Medical Simulation Training Centre of MU – Plovdiv, a molecular genetic laboratory at the newly established Personalised Innovative Medicine (PERIMED) Competence Centre, as well as a visit to the Old Town and sightseeing around Plovdiv.
